Malawi Qurbani Drive
Our Messenger ﷺ is reported to have fed over 40 poor people every day. Now is your chance to partake in this blessed tradition.
As Salāmu ʿAlaykum Wa Raḥmatullāhi WaBarakātuh,
Malawi, a third-world country located in the southern hemisphere of Africa, is home to hundreds of thousands of underprivileged people. Many individuals in this country have the opportunity to partake in meat only once a year, while for others, it may be their first time.
The recent floods have caused significant damages, resulting in a steep rise in the prices of basic necessities. The cost of living continues to increase each day, thereby exacerbating poverty.
In Sha Allāh, my esteemed colleague Mufti Muḥammed Ḥamza Farooqui will personally conduct Qurbāni in Malawi. Mufti has identified Maktabs in the city where ʿUlamā, Ḥuffāẓh, and students of Dīn will be the recipients of the cherished and appreciated meat.
This will no doubt also be a means of sadaqah jariyah (continuous reward) as the recipients will be engaged in learning Qur’an and Hadith.
We kindly request your generous assistance and donation, whether it be your obligatory or optional Qurbāni this year in Malawi.
